Rocker Type

Freeride Rocker 50% Camber / 50% Progressive Tip & Tail RockerDesigned for the deepest powder days, Rossignol's progressive Freeride rocker profile features longer, lower tip rocker, a tapered tail profile and traditional camber underfoot, delivering effortless flotation, instant speed control and the power, energy, and grip to get you back to the lift.

Sidecut

Centered SidecutA short sidecut directly underfoot combined with a uniquely tapered tip and tail. The deep radius underfoot provides edge grip and power where you need it while the short length of the sidecut allows easy steering and playfulness.

Laminates

Carbon Alloy MatrixA new era of high-efficiency materials. Combining an extremely lightweight design with high mechanical properties, the Carbon Alloy Matrix raises the ski’s performance across the board, whether in terms of grip and versatility, precision and permissiveness, or stability and maneuverability. The Carbon Alloy Matrix is the result of a clever blend of Carbon fiber and Basalt fiber. Carbon provides boost, lightness and power transmission, while Basalt contributes its shock-absorbing and stabilizing properties.

Air Tip 2.0Fully-integrated 3D construction is now lighter and stronger for more balanced performance from tip to tail. The visible internal reinforcement and fully-integrated design eliminates deflection and instability, delivering more concentrated power and energy throughout the ski. Reduced weight at the extremities keeps tips naturally afloat while ensuring ultra-light swing weight, effortless maneuverability, and enhanced ski control.

Marker Griffon 13 ID Ski Bindings 2019

As you develop as a skier, pushing harder and skiing faster, you find out that pre-release can be just as dangerous as failure to release. Performance, light weight, and reliability are what have made the Griffon evo's most popular alpine binding over the years and the new Marker Griffon 13 ID Ski Bindings maintain that tradition. The Griffon ID introduces a new AFD (Anti-Friction Device) with a greater adjustment range, meant to function equally well with either Alpine ISO 5355 or Touring ISO 9523 soles.

Toe Piece

Triple Pivot Elite ToeToe construction with impressive retention when freeriding. The spring in the toe is inserted horizontally and with a sole plate inclined by 5° it provides the highest energy absorption so as to reduce the risk of early release. The large supporting surface optimizes the power transmission and allows for great stresses and strains. In relation to their weight, toes with this technology therefore achieve a never-seen-before performance.

AFD Gliding PlateAll Marker bindings (except the Jester Pro) are equipped with a moveable AFD (Anti Friction Device), allowing a precise release unhindered by dirt, snow, and ice buildup. The type of AFD is matched to the skier type, ensuring perfect functionality from racing to junior and even alpine touring.

Sole.IDMarker Sole.ID allows Marker Authorized Retailers to adjust Sole ID equipped bindings to every type of adult ski boot sole, from ISO 5355 Alpine to ISO 9523 Touring, with a height adjustable gliding plate (AFD).

Heel Piece

Inter Pivot HeelThe stunning heel construction delivers superior holding power for freeriding. The Inter Pivot Heel directs the power forces in the angle of elasticity improving the holding power and reducing pre-releases.
