Mountain Overview

Mount Snow

There are four main areas of the mountain at Mount Snow, the Main Face, Carinthia, Sunbrook, and the North Face. Carinthia is filled completely with terrain parks, which are some of the best on the East Coast. The rest of the areas have a wealth of intermediate terrain, with some skiing and snowboarding for beginners and advanced riders mixed in. Overall, Mount Snow has some of the best variety in Vermont.

The Main Face has several lifts, and terrain that is great for beginners and intermediates. 73% of Mount Snow’s terrain is rated for intermediate skiers and snowboarders. These runs are primarily cut groomers and bumps. Carinthia is also technically on the Main Face, however Mt. Snow treats it as its own separate area. Here on Carinthia, every run is filled with terrain park features. Mount Snow’s Carinthia terrain parks are always highly rated, with features for all abilities of park skiers and snowboarders.

The Sunbrook area has a handful more intermediate rated trails off of the skier’s right side of the summit and down the backside. The trees here can be fun to duck into as well. Off of the backside on the skier’s left side of the summit of Mt. Snow is the North Face. The North Face is where the majority of Mount Snow’s advanced and expert rated terrain is located. These are the steepest runs on the mountain.
